Housing Development in Great Wakering


Pages 17 – 23 refer to the former Brickworks site and present industrial estate. Planning permission has been obtained for 116 dwellings.

Pages 76 – 81 refer to SER9a (land between Barrow Hall Road and Southend Road and SER9b (land south of the High Street).

According to the policy SER9 (a+b) are to be developed post 2021, but may be brought forward in certain circumstances detailed in the above document.

Cogent Land LLP who held a drop-in exhibition at the old school on 17th September 2015 are expected to apply for planning permission for SER9b - the land west of Little Wakering Road and to the south of Barrow Hall Road before Christmas 2015.
