Rochford & Rayleigh CAB - improved phone service

05/11/2014

Calls to Rochford & Rayleigh Citizens Advice Bureau are now cheaper and it's easier for residents to get advice from ourselves by telephone.

From 3rd November 2014 we joined with Citizens Advice Adviceline.  Calls will be to a 0300 number charged at local landline rates.  Calls will be answered locally but if no local operator an overflow system will operate enabling calls to be answered by an assessor at the national call centre.  Clients needing further help will be referred on to us for full advice.  Clients will have a numbered place in the queue, so they can decide whether to wait or try again later.

Calls to the current number will be transferred to the new number whilst we publicise this.  Publicity will begin now the new number is live.  Our websites have been amended to reflect the change.  Email advice is also available see www.rochfordcab.org.uk.
